I needed a rod for my butterfly grow light. It didn't have one and wooden skewers weren't going to last. I have been experimenting with different methods of growing vegetables and plants and using solid brass does benefit their growth. I measured the hole on the light, carefully, ordered the rods, and they fit perfectly.
